Local Services Ads management

Local Services Ads management for contractors.

Local Services Ads sit at the very top of Google for many home service searches, with a trust badge and a call button, and you pay per lead instead of per click. We get you approved, aim the budget at the jobs you want, and flag the leads that don't fit.

  • Setup, license, insurance and background-check paperwork handled
  • Job types and service areas matched to the work you want
  • Every lead reviewed, and unfit leads flagged to Google
  • LSA leads in the same dashboard as your calls and forms

Ads and Maps working together.

An illustrative garage door company ranking well on Maps in its home town but invisible in the next three. Local Services Ads covered the new towns from the first weeks while SEO and city pages caught up, and every lead went into one dashboard.

How LSA works

Pay per lead, not per click.

Local Services Ads work differently from regular Google Ads. There are no keywords to bid on. Three things decide how many leads you get and what they cost you.

01

Approval comes first.

Google checks your business before a single ad runs: licenses and insurance, and for many trades a background check on the owner and the technicians who go into homes. Missing or mismatched documents are the most common reason accounts sit in review for weeks.

What we do: collect the documents, submit them the way Google expects, and follow up until your badge is live.

02

Ranking runs on reviews and answering.

Your position depends on your review score and count, how close you are to the customer, your business hours, and how reliably you answer calls and messages. Missed calls and slow replies push you down, no matter how much you spend.

What we do: keep reviews coming in after every job, set hours to when someone actually answers, and flag missed leads the same day.

03

Lead quality is yours to manage.

You choose job types and service areas, but some leads will still be wrong: a service you don't offer, a town you don't cover, or spam. Google lets you flag those, and over months the credits and the cleaner targeting add up.

What we do: review every lead, mark the booked ones, and flag the ones that qualify, so your budget pays for leads that could have been work.

What usually goes wrong

Why LSA gets expensive.

LSA is simple to switch on and easy to leave running badly. These are the four leaks we find most often.

The problem

You ticked every job type at setup and now pay for small jobs you'd rather not take.

Our fix

We trim job types and service areas to the work you want, so the budget goes to jobs worth the drive.

The problem

Nobody flags bad leads, so you pay for spam, wrong services and out-of-area calls.

Our fix

We review every lead weekly and flag the ones that qualify under Google's rules.

The problem

Calls after 5 pm go to voicemail and your ad quietly drops down the list.

Our fix

We set hours to when someone really answers, and flag missed leads the same day so they get a call back.

The problem

LSA leads live in a separate app, so nobody knows what they're really worth.

Our fix

LSA leads land in your dashboard next to calls and forms, with cost per booked job.

How we measure success

Four numbers. Every month.

LSA reports leads. We go one step further and track which of those leads became jobs, next to every other channel.

☎

Calls

Tracked numbers on your site, profile and ads, with source, duration and recordings, so you can see which calls became jobs.

✉

Forms

Every quote request and booking form, tagged by the page and the search that brought it in.

⌖

Map rank per area

A grid of ranking points across your service area, so you see the towns where you win and the ones still missing.

$

Cost per lead

What you spend divided by real leads, by channel. The number that tells you where the next dollar goes.

Questions

Local Services Ads, answered.

Something else on your mind? Send a message and we'll reply within one business day.

What are Local Services Ads?

Ads that appear at the top of Google for many home service searches, showing your rating, a trust badge and a call or message button. You pay per lead instead of per click, and Google checks your business before the ads can run.

Is my trade eligible?

LSA covers most home service trades in the US, including garage doors, locksmiths, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and more. Some job types and areas aren't available yet. We check yours in the free review.

How long does approval take?

It depends on Google's checks. Some businesses are live in a couple of weeks; others take longer when background checks or license documents need follow-up. We handle the back and forth so you don't have to.

Do I still need regular Google Ads?

Often, yes. LSA covers the core job types, while search ads cover services LSA doesn't, plus towns you want to grow into. When both make sense, we run them from one budget plan.

Can you flag bad leads for me?

Yes. We review leads every week and flag the ones that qualify under Google's rules, like the wrong job type or a request outside your area. Google decides on credits, and we track what comes back.

Whose account is it?

Yours. The LSA account is set up in your business name, and we work in it as a manager. If you ever leave, the account, reviews and history stay with you.

How much does it cost?

There are two parts: your ad budget, paid to Google per lead, and our management. Both depend on your trade and area. You get a written number after the free check. The first 3 months are a commitment, then it's month to month.
